Hiding Spot

A Short Film Written and Directed by Edrei Hutson

Frightened by the idea of having kids, a woman's repressed childhood trauma surfaces and she realizes that in order to heal, she will need more than therapy.

Mission Statement

Imagine being a child who was sexually assaulted and instead of telling anyone, you hid that trauma for fear that you would be the one to get in trouble. This is too often the truth for child sexual assault survivors. Hiding Spot hopes to help change this narrative through Conversation, Awareness, and Education. Hiding Spot also digs deeper, discussing how trauma can present itself later and the importance of mental health and seeking therapy.
